Join Tasha Stevens-Vallecillo, for a foraging walk exploring the incredible world of medicinal and ‘altered state’ plants and fungi.
Many of the plants we’ll cover on this walk have been used for centuries in traditional healing and ceremonial ways. These incredible plants are often found just under our noses.
During this walk you will:
As this walk is an introduction to these plants, it will not give you the skills to process them. If you would like to know more about this we can point you in the direction of trusted herbalists and teachers.
If it's a nice day, feel free to bring a picnic and explore our land or go for a wild swim after this experience.
Dates:
This experience is available on Sat 13 Sep 2025. 1:30-4:00pm
Facilitator: Tasha Stevens -Vallecillo
Tasha has a dual heritage from both, Nicaragua in Latin America and England. Her insights into small-scale farming, peasant and indigenous culture have greatly informed her approach to land, food, medicine, and the call to serve the sacredness of all life.
By nature, her work often bridges worlds; she weaves structures that enable various access routes to engage in her co-created and collaborative projects. Tasha is the Founder of Land, Food, Medicine.
“Our medicine grows under our feet and below our noses, we just have to choose to see it.” Tasha Stevens -Vallecillo
