Join our Founder, Seth Tabatznik for an interactive tour of 42 Acres and experience our regenerative land, food, and rewilding projects.
42 Acres is a regenerative estate, nature reserve, and retreat centre. Our vision is to live in harmony with nature, self, and others. The guiding principle of our land & food practice is to work with nature not against it. In this way we tend to ourselves, to the land, and to our shared future.
We aim to leave everything we touch in better shape than we found it:
Our “soil to gut” food philosophy is designed as a blueprint for how we can grow, forage, and eat food in a way that builds bridges between personal and planetary health.
Our rewilding and species re-introduction projects extend beyond acts of physical conservation to demonstrate hopeful ways to respond to the crises of our times.
We run on 100% renewable energy. With have 2 solar farms and 2 biomass wood-chip heat systems to provide all of our heating and hot water.
Our founder, Seth Tabatznik is hosting an immersive tour as part of our 10th anniversary celebrations in partnership with Somerset Food Trail. You are invited to connect with the land, the team and the vision of 42 Acres.

Things to Note
- Please aim to arrive 15 minutes early - once we set off, we might be difficult to find.
- Please wear comfy footwear and weather-appropriate clothing.
- We work on the land and are used to getting a bit wet. We will only cancel if the weather is severe.
- Please read our Getting Here page before you set off - and head for The Hermitage Retreat Centre.
- Whilst we love our four-legged friends, we cannot welcome dogs at this event.
