An invitation to spend a half-day working with our team in our permaculture produce garden. Learn regenerative growing skills whilst actively contributing to our permaculture projects.
The day is designed to be an enriching experience working with us on tasks ranging from creating living willow structures to building hugelkultur beds, from threshing quinoa to sowing and harvesting fruit and veg. There will be an opportunity for meditation, sharing and nature connection.
At 1pm we will end with a simple shared lunch provided by 42 Acres (think nourishing soup and bread). Afterwards, you're welcome to stay and explore our land or take a wild dip in our lake.
Please Note:
'Volunteering at 42 acres in the permaculture garden was a complete joy - a warm welcome, informative and helpful staff to guide us in our tasks and teach us about the principles of permaculture - all topped off for a tasty lunch and a visit to the estate - thanks for a great day.'
